Questions with a Chandler: Emily

Meet Emily, our ever so wonderful Manager from Candlefish Charleston.

1. Tell us about a day in the life of you!
I have the best job! I get to be part of so many aspects  and exciting projects within our company and store. I am lucky to have an amazing team here in Charleston. When I am not at work I am either going to Pure Barre or walking my handsome child (dog) Eli. On the weekend my husband and I love paddle boarding or sailing our Hobie Cat  (when the weather is nice) or dining out at the millions of amazing restaurants nearby.

2. Most underrated restaurant in Atlanta/Charleston
I think that it's easy to overlook or underrate The Griffon. It's just a little hole in the wall dive bar, but they have some mean fried pickles. I also really love The Wreck over in the the Old Village. It's a quaint, little shack but they have some of the best boiled peanuts.

3. Go-to Library Fragrance
My first love of the library was No. 72. We moved here during the summer so I loved it's clean, fresh, marine qualities.

4. Most likely to...
To fill awkward silences with random gibberish.

5. Share one thing about being a chandler that's most surprising
I think it is always surprising to see people find fragrances that they never thought they would like. Since we provide a blind scent experience, many times people try things that they otherwise wouldn't have and end up really enjoying them.

6. Best advice you've ever received
"Under promise and over deliver" were my dad's famous words to me growing up.
