Join us for a unique and enchanting evening at Candlefish Charleston, located at 270 King Street. This special pop-up event features The Sparkle Bar.co, Charleston's premier fairy hair service, offering a delightful combination of fairy hair tinsel application and a candle-making workshop.
Following your shimmering transformation, our expert chandlers will guide you through the candle-making process. You'll choose a fragrance from our extensive Library of 100 fragrances, learn to blend wax and fragrance oils and pour two 9oz glass candles to take home.
Want even more sparkle? Guests will have the opportunity to purchase additional fairy hair strands, hair feathers, and face glitter for an extra touch of magic.
All classes are BYOB, so feel free to bring your favorite beverage to enjoy during the workshop. We provide glassware, bottle openers, and water for your convenience. Workshop attendees also receive an exclusive 15% discount on in-store purchases during the event. Candles will be ready for pick-up the following day, or we can ship them to you for a flat rate.

Attaching your Fairy Hair is simple and pain-free. We use a tool to knot Fairy Hair Tinsel with one strand of your hair. Each knot holds two strands of Fairy Hair. The knot is so small that it blends seamlessly with your natural hair. -

Workshop Details
1) Age limitations
Unless otherwise indicated, workshops at Candlefish are designed for adults ages 15 and older. Because our candle workshops are BYOB, involve high temperatures, and are intended for adults, we aim to create an adult friendly atmosphere.
2) Punctuality
We get it, things happen and you run late from time to time. Although we won’t give you a tardy slip for being late to class, please be aware that classes start promptly at the designated time.
If you are going to be late*, please call the shop ahead of time and let us know, otherwise we may begin the class without you and we don’t want to do that!
*If you or any members of your group are going to be over 15 minutes late, we ask that you reschedule for a later date to allow us a chance to book your open seats. You can easily reschedule your class via your confirmation email prior to the class start time.
Classes typically run for 1.5 hours.

3) Cancellation Policy
For cancellations made at least 48 hours (two days) in advance, simply use the prompts within your workshop confirmation email to either reschedule your workshop or go through with a refund.
For cancellations made less than 48 hours (two days) in advance: You can either reschedule your workshop from within your confirmation email, or contact the store for a Gift card/class credit issued in the amount of class fee.
4) Changing Class Dates
In the event that something comes up and you need to change your class registration, you can easily reschedule your class via your confirmation email prior to the class start time.
5) Candle Pick-Up
The candles you make in class will cure overnight at Candlefish, and are ready to be picked up the day following your workshop. Candlefish will babysit your candles for one week following your candle class, so please make arrangements to pick up before the end of the week!
6) Getting to Your Workshop
Boston: We are located between the Copley and Arlington stops on the Green line on the T. There are also several parking garages near our store, and of course street parking is available. And remember - street parking is free on Sundays and Holidays!
Charleston: There are 2 parking garages centrally located to our store at 270 King St. The first and closest garage is 69 Wentworth St, and the second parking garage is at 85 Hasell St, or more known as The Charleston Place Hotel, which is about a 5-8 minute walk to our store! There is also street parking throughout the downtown area. All of these options have hourly parking rates, and on Sundays, all street parking is free.
