                                                                     Scented Candle Making Workshops

Our signature scented candle-making workshop is offered year round and is the perfect introduction to candle-making. Choose a fragrance from our candle Library, learn how to blend wax and fragrance oil, wick your jars,  and pour two 9oz glass jars to take home. Did we mention all classes are BYOB? Candles are ready for pick-up the next day. 

Essential Oils and Fragrance Blending Workshop

The newest addition to our workshop offerings, this class is your chance to create your very own candle fragrance using a selection of essential oils and candle fragrance oils. Also offered year round, join us to learn the basics of perfumery, explore common top, middle, and dry notes, and create two unique fragrance blends of your very own. Workshop goers pour two 9oz glass jar candles to take home, and all candle-making equipment is provided. Candles are ready for pick-up the next day. 

Maker Break Workshop

Maker Break: noun (mey-ker breyk) a monthly workshop series hosted by Candlefish and taught by our favorite local makers and creators. 

Every month, the candle-makers take a break from making candles, step out of the workshop (just a few steps), and open our workshop space to our creative neighbors, allowing them to design and execute the workshop of their dreams. Past workshops include flower arranging, leather wallet crafting, essential oil perfumery, and even soap making. Check out your local Candlefish to see what's coming up in your area, and join us for a great workshop experience!

Vintage Vessel Workshop

If you love collecting eclectic vessels as much as we do, this will be your new favorite workshop. This workshop runs just like the scented candle workshop, except you will choose a variety of curated tea cups, tins, and bowls (provided by us) to use as your candle vessel. All workshop goers use 16oz of wax, choose a fragrance from our Library, and pour up 2-6 candles (depending on the vessel sizes.) This workshop is offered seasonally, and is also available for private parties! 

Custom Vessel Candle Workshops

Give your scented candle making experience a little something extra by customizing your vessels. Choose from a selection of porcelain vessels, pick a design, and apply your graphic directly to your candle vessel using porcelain markers. This workshop will be offered seasonally and is also available for private group workshops, a perfect option for bridal parties and all celebrations!

Succulent Centerpieces

Who doesn't love succulents? In this fun DIY inspired class you will arrange succulents and other greenery on a wood cut centerpiece to create a seasonal centerpiece your friends will all be jealous of.  Pour six scented candle tins to add the perfect finishing touch to your design. This workshop will be offered seasonally and is available for private events as well.
