Program Description

The Candlefish SMS Receipts program allows customers who make a purchase at a Candlefish market or retail location to receive a one-time text message containing their purchase receipt and a link to learn about the makers and artists featured in their purchase. This is a transactional messaging program — not a marketing or promotional program.

Message Frequency

You will receive one (1) text message per transaction, only when you voluntarily provide your phone number at the point of sale. No recurring or additional messages will be sent.

Message and data rates may apply. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan.

Opt-Out Instructions

Since this is a one-time transactional message, there is no recurring subscription to cancel. However, you can text STOP to +1 (843) 588-5143 at any time to block future messages from this number. After texting STOP, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.

What We Collect

When you provide your mobile phone number at checkout, we collect it solely to deliver your text message receipt.

Third-Party Services

We use Twilio, a trusted third-party communications platform, to deliver your text message receipt. Twilio processes your phone number solely to transmit the message. You can review Twilio’s privacy practices at twilio.com/legal/privacy.

Consent

By providing your phone number and tapping “Send My Receipt,” you consent to receive a single text message containing your purchase receipt from Candlefish. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You may always decline to provide your phone number and request a printed or emailed receipt instead.

Your Rights

Since we do not retain your phone number, there is no personal data to delete or modify after your receipt has been delivered. If you have questions or concerns, please contact us using the information above.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
